The MACC is governed and managed by the U-M Office of the Provost, MACC Policy Committee and MACC Operations Committee.

Responsibilities
Ensure the MACC fulfills its purpose May intervene as necessary to ensure that everyone performs their roles appropriately Ensure that the MACC addresses the needs of the occupants Allocate 1/6 of the racks, possibly for a High Performance Computing installation Select the MACC Operator Act as the Policy Committee chair

Membership	Responsibilities
One representative from each founding organization and/or U-M unit. Currently this is one representative each from: ITS Medical School College of Engineering College of Literature, Science and the Arts	Resolve questions related to allocation of MACC resources Determine parameters of routine operations Set rates for rack and electricity charges

Membership	Responsibilities
Each founding member in the Policy Committee chooses one member for the Operating Committee Each affiliate that has at least one row of racks may request representation on this committee Chair is selected by ITS	Represent the interests of data center occupants Advise the MACC Policy Committee on strategy and major finances Resolve questions related to routine operations of the MACC Work directly with ITS as needed Allocates co-location, or shared, racks

Responsibilities
Work closely with the MACC Operations Committee Provide 24/7 conditioned space and network connectivity Ensure a secure environment Bill occupants/users Manage the finances of the MACC operation
